The European Journal of Psychotherapy and Counselling (EJPC) is inviting submissions for its 2026 European Psychotherapy Trainee Essay Prize. This annual competition offers trainees and recently qualified practitioners the opportunity to have their research published in a respected peer-reviewed academic journal.
The competition is open to students and trainees from psychotherapy, psychotherapeutic counselling, counselling and psychoanalytic training organisations across Europe. Submissions may include unpublished coursework, essays, dissertations or theses (adapted where necessary), with papers between 4,000 and 5,000 words.
Up to six papers will be selected for publication following the journal’s peer review process.
