UKCP Online Event | Friday, 23 October | 10:00am – 3:00pm
UPCA members are invited to take part in this upcoming online event hosted by the UK Council for Psychotherapy(UKCP), which will explore how training and supervision can foster more inclusive, equitable, and anti-oppressive professional cultures.
Organised by UKCP’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI-BIIDE) Committee, the event aims to bring together trainers, supervisors, trainees, and practitioners to share good practice, reflect on lived experience, and strengthen inclusive approaches across psychotherapy education and supervision. Topics are expected to include intersectionality, facilitating conversations around identity, making reasonable adjustments, responding to conflict and complaints, overcoming structural barriers, and supervising across difference.
The event also includes an opportunity for members of the psychotherapy community to contribute their own experiences and examples of inclusive practice, helping to shape the programme and encourage collaborative learning across the profession. Further details on registration will be shared by UKCP in due course.
