Anxiomics: Opportunity to Contribute to Anxiety Research

Anxiomics is a Wellcome Trust–funded research programme based at the University of Cambridge exploring how anxiety develops and persists across the lifespan. The project examines the interaction between genetics, brain and cognitive development, and immune system processes in order to build a more integrated understanding of anxiety.

A central element of the programme is meaningful involvement from people with lived experience of anxiety. The research team is inviting individuals — including practitioners, people with personal experience, and carers — to contribute to a lived experience panel. Panel members will meet with researchers to help shape study materials, research priorities, and the communication of findings.

This is an opportunity to be actively involved in shaping contemporary research into anxiety and to ensure that lived experience meaningfully informs scientific and clinical understanding.

Further information, including how to express interest, is available via the project website.
