20 October 2026 is an important date for UPCA, as we will be undergoing our quinquennial Organisational Member Quality Review (OMR) by the UKCP Registration Department.
This review is a requirement for UPCA to remain recognised by UKCP as an accrediting body. As part of the review, UKCP assessors will be looking at UPCA’s systems, processes and procedures to ensure they meet UKCP’s standards.
As part of this process, the UKCP assessors would like to speak with a small group of six UPCA Accredited Clinical members to hear about their experiences of UPCA.
The online group interview will be informal and will provide an opportunity for members to share their views on:
- their experience of the UPCA accreditation process;
- how UPCA communicates with members; and
- their experience of being an Accredited Clinical member.
UKCP are particularly interested in hearing from members who have recently completed the accreditation process, as well as those who have completed their five-yearly re-accreditation.
