UKCP Bursary 2025

We’re pleased to announce that the UKCP Bursary 2025 will open for applications on Monday, 30 June.

The bursary is available to UKCP student and trainee members who are experiencing financial difficulty. Successful applicants will receive a £750 bursary, which will be paid directly to their training organisation to contribute towards course and training fees.

As part of UKCP’s commitment to increasing equity and diversity within the psychotherapy profession, they especially encourage applications from students and trainees who:

  • are in financial need due to personal circumstances (for example, being a single parent, living in a low-income household, having caring responsibilities, or similar);

  • come from under-represented groups, including people from Black, Asian or minoritised ethnic backgrounds; those with a disability (as defined by the Equality Act 2010); or those who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, non-binary and/or transgender.

Applicants must provide a statement of support from their training organisation as part of their application.

New UKCP Membership Applications

To apply for a UKCP bursary, students and trainees must be UKCP members. UKCP welcome new membership applications during this period and encourage any eligible students and trainees to apply for UKCP membership as soon as possible.
