CLASSES OF INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP

This consists of four classes:

Clinical Membership: Open to staff and graduates of courses which are accredited by the UPCA and to registered UKCP members involved in university-linked training courses:
Fee: £75

Research Membership: Open to non-clinical staff of university-linked courses.
Fee: £52

Associate Membership: Open to any member of a university with an interest in psychotherapy or counselling, or to any psychotherapist or counsellor with a commitment to the academic development of the subject.
Fee: £52

Student Membership: Open to current students of a university-linked psychotherapy or counselling course.
Fee: £21

INSTITUTIONAL MEMBERSHIP AND AFFILIATION

University Departments, Research Centres and University-linked Institutions may become affiliated to the Association.

Once an affiliated organisation's course in Psychotherapy or Counselling meets the standards laid down in the governing documents of the UPCA, and after any inspection is satisfactorily completed, the relevant course may be accredited as a clinical training course.
